Hridsko ili Ridsko jezero, biser Prokletija, nalazi se u sjevernoistočnom djelu ovih planina i spade u najljepša jezera Crne Gore, pod uslovom da nije i najljepše. Smješteno na visini od 1970 mnm predstavlja i najvisočije crnogorsko jezero.  Smješteno je između Velikog i Malog Hrida, po kojima je dobilo ime i ispod Velikog Hridskog krša (2374 mnm). Voda je izuzetno bistra, a boja varira od plave do zelene u zavisnosti reflektuje li nebo ili četinare koji ga okružuju, opet na nekim djelovimavidi se crvenkasto dno, zahvaljujući opet njegovoj bistrini. Dugo je 295 m , a široko 175 m. Najveća dubina mu je 5m. Od njega otiče Hridksa rijeka, dok vodu dobija padavinama, otapanjem snijega. Obala ovog jezera je i mjesto Petrovdanskog zbora, nakon koga na žalost ostane znatna količina otpadaka, koje najčešće završe jezeru prije nego planinarska društva iz Plava i Gusinja uspiju da ga očiste. Njegova gotovo mistična ljepota inspirisala je mnoge legende. Po jednoj legendi jezero su stvorili Bogovi za vile, da se u njemu kupaju i uljepšavaju daleko od ljudskih očiju. Vodeći se ovom krilaticom neke žene dolaze da se kupaju u njemu, čak i u zimskim mjesecima, a često u njega bacaju neki nakit zbog vjerovanja da će im to donijeti sreću u braku.

Murici are a  small fishing village on the banks of Skadar Lake. Unavoidable the station tourists who, generally, the cruise and explore the many beaches, islands, monasteries, and the birds of Lake Skadar. Coast of the lake is very accessible, sand is small and bright colors, and the water is very clear and suitable for swimming. In the summer months Murici are, for more people, like a sea and with its clean and spacious beaches reminds a lot for a coastal place. Murići can be reached by boat or little ship, and in addition can be visited  other picturesque places on the lake, such as Karuč, River of  Crnojević, Dodoši and others. Cruises are organized on a daily basis, usually from Virpazar, Plavnica or Vranjina. In addition to approaches to water Murici have paved access from the mainland, so it may come by old road from Virpazar to Ulcinj

Captain Lake, at the foot of the Morača mountains, is often a place where are gathering a lovers of nature and fishing. It was named after Captain Musovic from Niksic that during the struggle with the Turks fought bravely and defended these areas. The length of this glacial lake is 480 m, width 200, a depth of about 37 meters. Captain Lake is situated at an altitude of 1673m and around him are mountains with peaks  Lukavica, Žurim, Rogođed and Stožac. Color of the lake is from chestnut to dark gray, and is rich with fish. It is the third lake by depth in Montenegro, after the Black and Skadar Lake. It’s fulling with several sources, precipitation and by a stream. Lake belong to municipality of Kolasin, but it is  near Niksic (40 kilometers) and is, therefore, usually resort of their sitizen. A number of people who gather on the shores of the lake is large on Ilin day, when the tribe  from these parts together in council.

Not far from him, but with much steeper approach, is the Manito Lake. It is some 40 minutes from Captain’s lake, and called also Brnjičko by rocky areas Brnik. It’s long  220 m, 140 m wide and 13 meters deep. It is very clear and clean, because of its inaccessibility.

Poscensko Jezero is one of the lakes on Jezerska Povrs (Plateau of Lakes). It is closest to the edge of Durmitor. Poscensko Jezero (1487 m, 3.6 m deep) is one of 18 mountain lakes of Durmitor National Park. Durmitorians called them “Gorske oci” (Mountain Eyes). After glaciation in last ice age, during melt of ice, Durmitor’s lakes was born.

Gusinje is a town in the municipality of Plav. It is located under Prokletije and Visitor, on the border with Albania, on the part of the river Vrulja  and Grčara, the southwestern part of Plav-Gusinje basin and about 900 m above sea high. It’s famose  by Alipashas springs that are the source of the river Lim. Springs are named by the Albanian commander Ali Pasha Šabanagic, known as Ali Pasha Gusinjski. When the Berlin Congress recognized Montenegro as statehood Plav-Gusinje area  is become part of her, but the people, headed by Ali – Pasha, opposed it and in the battle in Novšići win army of Duke Marko Miljanov. Although served in Pec, pasha has often caming  in Gusinje and springs were his favorite place. The house  which is made by him  was a place where they gather and  famose people of that time, all passengers to be found there where slept and rested there, people were discussing trade. Sources are part of the river Grulja (Vrulja) and specific because of the large number (25) the smaller sources in the foot hills Vizier chin at an altitude 925 meters. Minimum capacity was 2.5, a maximum of eight cubic meters per second. The water temperature is almost constant and ranges from 5.6 to 6.6 degrees Celsius. In the place where submerge, near the Albanian border,  can see the fountain, ” Skakavica” from which water falls from a great height and makes beautiful water curtain. Water quality and is suitable for drinking. Many locals of Gusinje, Plav and surrounding villages are working abroad, most of them in the USA, but do not forget his homeland. Every year on Ilindan 2.  august, residents of this area traditionally organized gathering of Ali-Pasha sources, which by custom, attended a large number of immigrants originating from these regions.
